We’ve all been there. You’re rushing through security at your local airport, juggling a carry-on, a laptop, and a passport. Then, the worst happens: your bag takes a tumble, or you pack a little too aggressively, and you hear that sickening crunch.
Moments later, the undeniable scent of your favourite designer fragrance fills the air—alongside the crushing realization that your £100 bottle of perfume has just shattered into a million sticky pieces all over your clothes.
That exact heart-stopping moment is why my business exists today.
The £100 Breaking Point
It happened last year on a trip away with my partner. I had treated myself to a luxury, full-sized bottle of scent for a weekend getaway (Le Male, if you are interested!). Tucked carelessly into a side pocket of my weekender bag, it didn't survive the journey. Not only did I lose a hefty chunk of money, but I spent the entire trip smelling like a duty-free shop while lacking my signature scent for weekend I had planned.
Back home, I went looking for a solution. I wanted something sleek, reliable, and leak-proof that let me take a fraction of my favourite fragrance with me without lugging heavy glass bottles through airport security.
What I found on the market was frustratingly cheap: flimsy plastic sprayers that leaked in my bag, broke after two uses, or were a nightmare to refill without spilling half the liquid.
That’s when inspiration struck: “If I needed a luxury, durable, and effortlessly stylish portable atomiser, other UK fragrance lovers must need one too.”
Building the Brand: The Atomiser Store
Starting a business from a personal grievance gave our brand a crystal-clear mission: never let another traveller lose a favourite scent to a shattered bottle!
